Fraternal Order of Eagles Buckley #1387 Scholarship

The Fraternal Order of Eagles Buckley #1387 is dedicated to upholding the ideals represented by our motto of "People Helping People." In effort to inspire, we have established a scholarship fund. Scholarship Awards range from $250 to $3000 a year and are not renewable.

 

Applications are open to

White River High School seniors, Former Buckley Eagles Scholarship Recipients, Buckley Eagle Members, a Buckley Eagle Members' child or grandchild that is either a senior high school or currently enrolled in college.

After carefully screening, Scholarship Finalists will be interviewed by the Scholarship Committee.

High School Student Applications must include:

Verifiable Transcript

Letter of Recommendation

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicant must maintain a 2.5 GPA

Must have completed the FAFSA

Must have completed some unpaid/uncompensated Community Service

Must be in good standing - No disciplinary infractions

All submissions will become the property of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Buckley #1387 Scholarship Committee and will not be returned to the applicant. All financial information will be kept confidential and reviewed by the Scholarship Committee only.

​

The Committee will judge the candidate’s academic, activity, leadership and community service merits looking to ensure student soundness and dedication to civic obligation by inspection of the written credentials and by personal interview.

 

Terms of Award:

All funds will be disbursed and made payable to the student's college, university or qualified technical school upon receipt of verification of enrollment and student being in good standing. Additional terms will be detailed in the award letter
